INCREASE CTRS Visibility
The NSTRA executive has received numerous concerns regarding job postings that exclude CTRSs from applying for positions because Therapeutic Recreation or Recreation Therapy is an unregulated health profession. In response to our members’ concerns, NSTRA is asking you, as a CTRS, to use the following as part of your signature:
Your name, Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, CTRS.
The rationale is to increase awareness of our certified status.
