The Nova Scotia Therapeutic Recreation Association’s Cape Breton Zone is hosting the 7th Annual Conference on Thursday, October 24th & Friday, October 25th, 2024. This year’s theme is TR Trailblazers: Together Towards Tomorrow. (Possible preconference event on Wednesday, Oct. 23rd… stay tuned for details).

NSTRA’s 2024 Conference Planning Committee invites students, educators, practitioners, and allied health professionals to submit presentation proposals relevant to evidence-based best practices, innovative programs, assessment, facilitation techniques, interventions, management issues, theories/models, research, and other strategies that advance and develop the practice of the Therapeutic Recreation profession relating to our theme. Inter-professional teams and other collaborative approaches for presentations are encouraged.

Applicants are asked to complete the accompanying form. Deadline for submissions has been extended to May 6th, 2024 at 11:59 pm.

The NSTRA thanks you for your interest; all presenters chosen will be notified by email in early May.
